Jacqueline is a psychotherapist, clinical herbalist, dog mom, coffee connoisseur, consciousness explorer, and lover of the nature, and the human experience. Although she has lived in Boulder for the last 7 years,  She was born and lived most of her life in St. Paul, Minnesota. Her love for nature started while going up to her grandparents’ home who live near the woods and also later lived on a lakeside. She spent years wandering through the forest and trying to identify wild edible plants and doing conservation work in northern Minnesota.

Jacqueline's own journey with mental wellness began with her own transformative therapeutic experience when she was 19. This experience and the relationship with her therapist was an inspiration for her to follow her pull to study psychology.  Jacqueline completed her undergraduate studies in Psychology and her internship was on the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. After graduating,  Jacqueline traveled to Hawaii to work doing wilderness/horticulutral therapy on an organic farm with at-risk adolescents. This is the first place where she learned about the medicinal uses of herbs and plants and flourished in the “wellness” role where she worked caring for clients who were needing health and psychological support. It’s the first place she made teas from herbs like lavender and chamomile, and learned about the super protective and nourishing properties of cilantro!  It became obvious that food is medicine and medicine is food.

After completing her time in Hawaii, Jacqueline listened to a call and bought a one way ticket to Asia and volunteered and traveled solo for 6 ½ months. While here, she volunteered on the Burmese/Thailand border at an abandoned children's home, She volunteered teaching English at a Cambodian eco village, and did her first Vipassana (10-day, silent) meditation. While traveling, she decided she was ready to gain more skills to be able to offer more to people and continue her life journey and become a psychotherapist.

Jacqueline Received her MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in Transpersonal Mindfulness-Based therapy from Naropa University in Boulder, CO in 2017.  Since graduating, She has worked at the Eating Recovery Center (Eating disorder treatment center)  in Denver, CO and also for Wonder Inc (providing support for teens transitioning home from wilderness therapy programs). She received her 500+ hour Clinical Herbalism Certificate from Herbalism Roots in Denver, CO in 2021 and is now focusing on her private practice and creating beautiful herbal lines to support mental health and wellbeing.

Jacqueline loves people and is honored to support them on their own unique healing journeys. She would be honored to help you reach your goals and support you in finding your way to live a flourishing and beautiful life.
